The SkullTroniX Dead Ringer:
A kinetic masterpiece. The first animated Steampunk Skull ever made or offered. Brass and solid hardwoods make this Steamounk skull display glorious to look at year round. Even when it isn't moving it is a true work of art. The brain is sound-active and inside is a plasma disc that show the brain's activity. The eyes glow in any of 16 million colors and can even strobe at different speeds.
The Dead Ringer was brought to life by Jerry Jewell and each one is hand built by the master craftsmen at SkullTroniX. Dead Ringer is driven by the same software that controls our famous SkullTroniX skulls and Skeletrons.
The Dead Ringer is completely self-contained. The cabinet includes the speakers, amplifier, and RAPU control board. It also includes an IR remote control and plug for your MP3 player to act as a stand alone office/home stereo system. Animation and sound files are stored on a Compact Flash or SD card. New routines can be downloaded from your PC via a USB cable.
So here's the breakdown on what comes with the Dead Ringer:
The Self Contained Dead Ringer includes:
- Rapu control board
- VSA animation software for creating your own animations
- Cabinet as shown with your choice of solid hardwoods, We currently offer Mahogany and Walnut. No veneers, no particle board. Real hardwood.
- 25 watt amplifier with separate output for subwoofer. Input jack for MP3 player, Bass, Treble, Volume, and SubWoofer level controls.
- 2 Pioneer speakers. Sub Woofer is optional and not really needed.
- Power supply/s
- Four prerecorced songs from our library
- Options for the Self Contained version are:
- Enttec Open DMX interface with DMX cables to use your PC for both running and creating animations.
- DMX light kit as used in the videos. This includes 2 RGB LED lights and 2 25' DMX cables.
- Custom soundtracks and animation. Call for details.
